Never has the title of an immersive production intrigued me more than Ceaseless Fun’s upcoming show “Why I Want To Fuck Ronald Reagan.” Directed by Derek Spencer, this immersive theatrical happening will run from February 25 until March 5 at Montserrat DTLA, located in the Fashion District of Los Angeles.

I can’t even tell what it is about, really, but I am so on board for whatever it is! From their press release:

WHY I WANT TO FUCK RONALD REAGAN is a work of literary and theatrical collage that blends interaction and intimacy with an interrogation of the cultural precepts behind conservatism. Drawing inspiration from the work of JG Ballard, Kathy Acker, Eve Babitz, Vito Acconci, Karen Finley, and others, the director & his cast commune with the worlds of celebrity and pathology by using spectacle, interplay, and movement. The production imagines Reagan’s California as one part surrealist fantasy, one part interstate highway, and one part psych ward, as each character blazes their own path through a dystopic past.

Tickets are $20, and are available at ronaldreagan.brownpapertickets.com
