Pop TV has announced that all 7 seasons of the cult phenomenon, Buffy the Vampire Slayer will be airing on its channel. A staple of 90s and early 00s television, Buffy the Vampire Slayer follows the vampire-killing escapades of ass-kicking heroine Buffy Summers, played by Sarah Michelle Gellar. The series ran from 1997 to 2003 and was the breakout hit for many stars of TV and film including Seth Green, Alyson Hannigan, Charisma Carpenter, Anthony Stewart Head, David Boreanaz, along with so many more than I can list here. It also marked the television debut of writer/director Joss Whedon, who had previously written the 1992 film the series was based on and featured an equally star-studded cast including Kristy Swanson, Donald Sutherland, David Arquette, and the great Paul Reubens. Of course if you’re still reading this you probably knew all that and can’t wait to catch up on all that nostalgic fun.
