I have great news for YOU! There is a NEW Horror movie on the way about all the scary happenings in one town on All Hallows Eve. Tales of Halloween is an anthology film with ten terrifying shorts by eleven talented directors. Are you ready for the MADNESS?!
This year at Scare LA, the directors of this terrifying new film take the stage to discuss with Horror/Halloween fans about their new anthology Halloween movie. Moderated by Adam Green
The immensly talented group of filmmakers took the stage discussing what it took to make a film all based on their love of Halloween. The way they described production, it truly is a passion project. All the filmmakers pulled in together to make this film epic. “Everyone was busting for each other. We made movies for us.” They all participated in each others short stories, so when you see this film expect to see all of these guys scattered amongst the stories.
As per decribed in the synopsis of the film, each short revolves around Halloween in a small town. Some of the stories are fantastic like “Sweet Tooth” the candy monster, evil jack ‘o lanterns, a Halloween decorating face off and many other stories. “Each film is a reflection of each director and their style and their like projected on film.”
As a Halloween fan, it is exciting to see a bunch of filmmakers get together for the love of Horror and Halloween making a film all about the beloved holiday. It is the love for Halloween and all things spooky that turned many of us into Horror fans. Like Trick ‘r Treat, Nightmare Before Christmas, John Carpenter’s Halloween and many others… I am excited to fit this film into my collection of Halloween movies. Adam Green stated on stage, “It is not a Horror movie, it is not an Anthology, this is a Halloween movie.”
With months of hard work, filming all the shorts back to back, the filmmakers are excited to unleash their film onto the world this October.
