Lonely Spectre Productions has announced the official completion of production on the forthcoming feature-film, House of Ka. Weih this announcement, first images have been released. Written and Directed by Josie Eli Herman, the film is based on one of Bram Stoker’s lesser known works, THE JEWEL OF THE SEVEN STARS.

STORY SYNOPSIS: After her father contracts a supernatural illness, a young aristocrat named Margaret Trelawny enlists the help of a gentleman lawyer to save her father’s life. Their investigation doesn’t go as planned when they realize that what they are hunting is already hunting them.

Josie is a director, actor, and writer from Pinckney, Michigan. She won the Audio Verse award for best director for the audio drama The Call of the Void – currently with half a million global downloads. She has directed productions at the Roustabout Theatre Troupe, The Penny Seats Theatre Company, and her alma mater Eastern Michigan University.

Producer Brendan Haley is an American filmmaker, screenwriter, actor, and columnist known primarily for his work in horror and LGBTQ+ genres. He is the founder of the Los Angeles-based multimedia company, Lonely Spectre Productions. Outside of his work in film and TV, Brendan is a contributor to various media outlets, with bylines in Fangoria, The Advocate, Pride.com, and HorrorBuzz. Some of Haley’s notable works include the Daytime Emmy Award-winning Netflix series Eastsiders, The Fangoria Chainsaw Awards, Deathcember, The Jessica Cabin, the Ava Digital Award-winning fiction podcast It Listens From The Radio, and Cinema Insomnia with Mr. Lobo.
