Everybody gets a sucker for the show!

The night begins at 7:30 pm as doors open and the audience enters the theater. For the 30 minutes leading up to the screening, the insane HMN Video PreShow plays. Think of it as a very twisted version of those that stuff that plays before movies at Edwards Cinemas.

The Horror Movie Night Video Preshow

Finally, the real fun begins. The lights go down and we welcome the crowd with a fabulous game show where a handful of lucky horror lovers could win cool prizes. Last month we played a game called What’s My Tagline. Here, four contestants had to guess a movie based on the poster tagline from the film. It was a tough game, but ultimately everyone walked away with a little surprise.

Following that, the lights go down and we get a very special short film selection director from our friends at Midsummer Scream and the Screaming Room Film Festival! Tonight’s short film is THE STRONG BOX and filmmaker Hassan El-Amin will be in attendance for meets and chats.

This isn’t just a night at the movies. This is HORROR MOVIE NIGHT at The Frida Cinema. Join us tonight. Join us for Alien in August and Halloween III in October. Come for the screams, stay for the fun.
