Come one, Come all… The sound of synthesized calliopes and gentle snoring are the introduction to The Ear Fairy – A new music video from Monsieur Pompier’s Travelling Freakshow for their album “Teatime Terrors,” releasing in July. Combining circus freaks and fairy tales, The Ear Fairy is a creepy, psychedelic whirlwind of color. Monsieur Pompier’s Travelling Freakshow is, in their own words, “a troupe like no other.” Having created a following with their bizarre, immersive live shows – combining theatrics, magic, mask work and music, they are now releasing their first album, “Teatime Terrors,” in July of 2021. The Ear Fairy is one of ten tracks being released, and the first music video that will be dropping from the album. With a massive bang, and a cloud of mysterious smoke, Monsieur Pompier’s Travelling Freakshow is landing right in our laps. It’s time for the show!

The insane mask featured in the video deserves major credit for creating a soon-to-be-iconic character. It’s clear when browsing the Freakshow website that he is just one of many characters and creatures that make their way into the show – and this video is a perfect little introduction to their live theatrics. I am itching now to see them perform live- and you will be too. Just be wary of the Ear Fairy – he only comes if you are good.
