Don’t Know Fear? You soon will. The official trailer for supernatural horror Know Fear has dropped ahead of the film’s March release. To defeat evil they must speak it, hear it, and see it.

Synopsis: After discovering an ancient book of the occult in their new home, Donald Capel’s (David Alan Basche) wife Wendy (Amy Carlson) is seized by a demonic entity, nearly killing her. Donald’s niece (Mallory Bechtel) activates a dangerous ritual in the book used to identify and banish demons, a ritual forcing each member of the family to communicate with the demon in their own unique way: to see it, hear it, or speak to it.

The set-up seems pretty standard. A family buys a house, foolishly messes with the items left behind, and unleashes an unstoppable demon hell-bent on destroying them. But Scare Me takes things in a distinctly different direction. Choosing three family members that all have different abilities (one can see the demon, one can hear it, and one can speak its language) is a wonderfully original take on a tired trope. I can’t wait to see the communication struggles between the family along with the interplay between the different abilities and their interactions with and reactions to the demon.

Directed by Jamison M. LoCascio, Know Fear stars Amy Carlson (“Blue Bloods”), Mallory Bechtel (Hereditary), and David Alan Basche (War of the Worlds). Know Fear premieres on digital platforms on March 12, 2021, from Terror Films.
