Horror has always been a genre in the film industry that has been right up your street or something that you would avoid like the plague – there is no in between. However, this doesn’t have seen to have affected their popularity as film directors continue to create them, and online streaming services like Netflix are continuing to invest in them and showcase them on their streaming services and below we look at some of the best on Netflix right now.

Hush is a series directed by Mike Flanagan who also directed other horror blockbusters including The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor but this time we see a tense home break in thriller that will certainly keep you on the edge of your seats for the duration of the film. This film sees a deaf woman attempting to fight of a scary intruder and the way that Flanagan impressively uses the deafness of the main character into the suspense of the film is certainly something that we were impressed with.

Netflix has been able to benefit from the internet now dominating the entertainment industry and hasn’t been the only sub-sector of the industry to benefit with online casinos available here which have also recorded records numbers on their site due to the impressiveness of the internet. Not only that, but they are offering a no verification sign up process at these casinos which is allowing punters to get down to their gambling fun as soon as possible.

The Invitation is the next horror film that we have been enjoying on Netflix recently, where Karyn Kusama’s directed a dinner party that goes very wrong, very quickly. This film’s stars out as former friends meeting up and chatting through old memories and past times. However, as the film goes on, things start to take a turn for the world and become extremely violent, very quickly amongst the guests and is certainly a must watch horror film on Netflix right now.

And finally, and potentially the scariest on Netflix right now, especially if you have a phobia of clowns is Killer Klowns From Outer Space which is one of the best retro horror films of all time since its release in 1988. Even the name of the film gives us the frights and clearly explain how it is going to go down in the cult classic. Aliens start to fly down from outer space and come to Earth and attack with circus-themed weapons which at first doesn’t seem scary but gets a whole lot worse once you get into the thick of the film.
