As spooky season approaches, LVCRFT, the sinister songsters of Halloween electro-pop, rise again for a brand new collection of original Halloween-themed tunes. The album is titled The Sequel and follows LVCRFT’s debut album This is Halloween Vol 1. The Sequel featured 15 brand new tracks and features guest appearances from Uffie (Uffie the Vampire Slayer), Bonnie McKee (Evil McQueen), ZZ Ward (ZZycho Ward), Morgan McMichaels (Morgan McMyKill Myers), Sarah Hudson (Olivia Demon Spawn), and Har Mar Superstar (Scar Mar Superscare). As an added bonus, Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead) and John Kassir (The Cryptkeeper) have lent their vocal talents to the creepy collection. The first single, “Spooky Scary Skeletons,” has been released and is an updated version of the ‘90s classic. Additionally, the song will be the main theme for Freeform’s annual, highly anticipated “31 Nights Of Halloween.” This brand new screaming sequel is due October 1st.

LVCRFT is the brainchild of Evan “Kidd” Bogart (Lil Punkin), who has crafted hit songs such as Beyonce’s “Halo” and Rihanna’s “SOS”. Amanda “MNDR” Warner (Deepkutz), the mastermind behind Mark Ronson’s “Bang Bang Bang” and Flume’s “Like Water”, and her frequent collaborator Peter Wade (Norman Crates). This trio of terror has shared a love of Halloween for what feels like an eternity and felt that love was not well represented in pop music. So they took on the task of creating a cache of creepy classics. Shortly after their debut album, LVCRFT gained a musical partnership with Netflix and Freeform, most notably the collaboration of the song for The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 3, “Straight To Hell.”

“With its campy, sing-along choruses and danceable rhythms, This Is Halloween is a clear ancestor of iconic Halloween hits like ‘The Monster Mash’ and ‘Thriller;’ ultimately, it prizes fun over frights,” said GQ.  These new terrifying tunes are sure to become cult classics and we can’t wait to sink our teeth into it.
