Vikki Lenola plays Temptress Witch Alexandria

Director Manuel H. Da Silva wants you to get the New Year started with a scare. Covenant arrives February 4th on Digital and Disc from High Octane Pictures, promising an atmospheric and chilling supernatural horror film. Okay, so what is it about? Glad you asked.

Synopsis: After receiving word of his estranged mother’s untimely passing, a reluctant former army lieutenant must travel to a secluded town in the Pacific Northwest to unlock the mystery surrounding her suspicious death.

Not gonna lie the trailer offers what appears to be adequate special effects and a story that is, for the most part, interesting. We have demons, possession, soul-eaters, and plenty of black goop dripping out of mouths. I will give props to the sound engineer that did the “Help Me!” remix here. Nicely done.
