Indie publishing label Modus Games today revealed new details and art depicting the twisted mystery at the heart of Remothered: Broken Porcelain, the second installment in the critically acclaimed cult saga by Darril Arts. The upcoming survival horror game is also available to wishlist on Steam ahead of its release on PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in 2020.

Building upon director Chris Darril and developer Stormind Games’ gripping tale, Remothered: Broken Porcelain introduces players to the troubled staff and guests of Ashmann Inn. Patrons of the hotel include a score of surreal, violent guests, and the motives behind each menacing occurrence within the walls of the inn ensure no guest feels at ease during their stay.

Broken Porcelain finds an unruly teen Jennifer as Ashmann Inn’s latest caretaker, but strange behavior and inexplicable phenomena quickly inspire her to dig into the secrets lurking in the halls with the help of a potential ally named Lindsay. Meanwhile, Rosemary returns from Remothered: Tormented Fathers to continue her investigation of a girl’s long-unsolved disappearance. These heroines will face unreal terrors and deadly opposition in their search for truth.

Remothered: Broken Porcelain recalls classic survival horror, implementing characters inspired by the genre’s iconic protagonists and themes.

About the Author

Ethan Allen was born and raised in the south bay (SoCal). At age 5 he was taken to the theater to see Halloween 2. Since that time he hasn’t been able to bite into an apple because of the fear of chomping down into a razor blade. At age 12 he went to his first haunt (Knotts Scary Farm) and only has missed a handful of years since then. Ethan has an unhealthy obsession with Elvira, 80’s slashers, and universal monsters which is borderline creepy.
