Netflix has released the official trailer for ELI, a new feature from director Ciarán Foy set for release this October. The film stars Charlie Shotwell, Max Martini, Sadie Sink, Lili Taylor, and Kelly Reilly.

After checking into a clean house to treat his auto-immune disorder, 11-year-old Eli begins to believe that the house is haunted. Unable to leave, Eli soon suspects that the house, and the doctor who runs it, are more sinister than they appear.

Eli | Official Trailer | Netflix

Lately, Netflix has been raising the standard for the quality of film and television, and though it has produced plenty of flops, Eli looks like it will join the annals of hit Netflix content. There’s an overwhelming, creepy feeling of isolation from the trailer alone, and Sadie Sink (of “Stranger Things” fame) will likely be a draw for Netflix audiences.

Eli will be available HERE on October 18, 2019.

About the Author

From humble beginnings as a bisexual art kid who drank more coffee than a 40-year-old author, Remy now holds a BFA in Film Production from Chapman University and is a proud member of the HorrorBuzz team (and still a bisexual art kid who drinks too much coffee). They were first introduced to the world of horror and camp when their grandma showed them The Rocky Horror Picture Show at age 5, and never looked back. When they're not writing cartoons or working on movies, one can spot them in various clubs around Los Angeles performing very, very self-deprecating standup comedy. Howdy ho!
