Awake little Georgina from her evil clown dream weaved of her worst fears. Help the drunken pirate Jack Parrot to vanquish the horrible sea monster Kraken and save Father Lugosi from Count Dracula’s bloodthirsty fangs. But remember that even the smallest mistake is enough to smash you into pieces in this dark and challenging boss runner!

Rest in Pieces has been available for mobile devices for a couple of months and was awarded as one of the Top 10 best games at the Google Play Indie Games Showcase in June. The team has now rebuilt the game from the ground up to fit Nintendo Switch features, techniques, and controls. It also contains extra features and more content.

“Rest in Pieces was considered to be a game for Nintendo Switch from the beginning and we designed it with that in mind. But this is a new platform to us and that is why we decided to launch it for mobiles first,” says Itatake’s Thomas Wedin.

The objective in Rest in Pieces is to swing fragile porcelain figurines through horrid nightmares without smashing into anything. It is a boss runner in a nightmare setting containing 18 different figurines and six bosses; The killer clown, Kraken, Medusa, Yeti, Count Dracula and Insectum. More nightmares, figurines, and boosters will be available for incoming updates.

Rest in Pieces is available for download on the Nintendo eShop for $7.99.

About the Author

Ethan Allen was born and raised in the south bay (SoCal). At age 5 he was taken to the theater to see Halloween 2. Since that time he hasn’t been able to bite into an apple because of the fear of chomping down into a razor blade. At age 12 he went to his first haunt (Knotts Scary Farm) and only has missed a handful of years since then. Ethan has an unhealthy obsession with Elvira, 80’s slashers, and universal monsters which is borderline creepy.
