Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood have released a pretty awesome director’s cut of the TV spot for Halloween Horror Nights 2019. The spot follows a group of friends enjoying a movie night…that is until the biggest names in horror come alive, turning their night upside down. Click here to check it out.

Halloween Horror Nights 2019 Teaser - Watch Party

With just over two minutes, the new extended spot covers plenty of territory. We see an attack in the upside-down, we get a taste of Jordan Peele’s US and we get to see Dracula take a bite or two. The mounting tension and dread are palpable as each victim is picked off one by one. Very nicely done. Give it a watch.

We are pretty excited for this year’s edition of Horror Nights with a total of 10 mazes in Hollywood including 3 original creations in Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman, The Curse of Pandora’s Box, and Holidayz In Hell. That is not to mention the IP Mazes like The Walking Dead, US, Creepshow, Stranger Things, Ghostbusters, Killer Klowns From Outer Space, and House of 1,000 Corpses.  While we do have The Walking Dead all year, we see the return of Stranger Things and the fan-favorite House of 1,000 for its fourth iteration at the event. What could they possibly do with that property that they haven’t done before?

So, take this spot as a warning.  If you organize a watch party of all the movies and shows featured at HHN 2019, take extra care.  Lock doors and windows, check the power lines, always check the back seat of the car, and do NOT accept cotton candy from Klowns. You might just survive.
