Filmmaker Jeff Payne had the horror community a buzz with his nightmarish short “The Pale Faced Lady,” and a sequel is soon to come. The first installment was a stylistic scary short film that left viewers wanting more scares. Not much is known yet about “The Pale Faced Lady 2” besides these exclusive photos; the rest is a mystery.

The first film follows a girl telling the story about living in an old house that is inhabited by the ghost of a pale faced lady. Due to her young age, her parents didn’t believe her, and the ghost sightings continue until tragedy strikes.

“The first one was more narrative driven, giving you the setting, a bit of the story, and what Pale Faced Lady is capable of,” says Payne. “With this one, I’m focusing on the one character who gets stalked by her in real time. He also unknowingly has a part in the creation of this entity.”

About the Author

From humble beginnings as a bisexual art kid who drank more coffee than a 40-year-old author, Remy now holds a BFA in Film Production from Chapman University and is a proud member of the HorrorBuzz team (and still a bisexual art kid who drinks too much coffee). They were first introduced to the world of horror and camp when their grandma showed them The Rocky Horror Picture Show at age 5, and never looked back. When they're not writing cartoons or working on movies, one can spot them in various clubs around Los Angeles performing very, very self-deprecating standup comedy. Howdy ho!
