Godzilla is back – and we are PUMPED to witness this showdown. The second trailer for Godzilla: King of Monsters, starring Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins and Millie Bobby Brown has been released. This new epic was written and directed by Michael Dougherty (Trick ‘r Treat) and it looks good.

Synopsis: Mankind is facing eradication. Crypto-zoological agency, Monarch, and its members must team up with the mighty Godzilla as they collide with other ancient god-sized monsters; Mothra, Rodan and his ultimate nemesis, King Ghidorah. While these Titans vie for supremacy, the fate of mankind hangs in the balance.

The trailer uses jaw dropping imagery and grabs the viewer by the throat – leaving them unable to breath. The sheer size of Ghidorah compared to Godzilla, the shot of Godzilla running into battle with a fighter jets in tow, and I have to mention the best line in this trailer:
“So you want to make Godzilla our pet? No. We will be his.” BOOM. MIC DROP.
It. Looks. So. Good. You can fight me on this one.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters is rated PG 13 and slated to release in May 2019.
