A few weeks ago, I wrote about THE SIDESHOW, the debut production from CoAct Productions, a unique interactive experience where 10 audience members are mysteriously transported to a vintage 1930s circus. The show comes from folks who cut their teeth with the fantastic Safehouse ’77, along with some new talent from the Los Angeles entertainment industry.

Their Kickstarter blew past their initial goal, almost doubling it, surprising no one here at HorrorBuzz! We knew they would do quite well, and it will only serve to strengthen the show overall.

The show is an hour long performance which will have guests re-experience the evocative memories of two early circus performers. Audiences will encounter historical influences of the era as they inhabit a multi-sensory environment and interact with characters. Coupled with an elegant dessert and wine pairing, THE SIDESHOW will have participants indulging themselves in its dream-like atmosphere as they uncover what temptations loom beneath the veil of the big top.

Tickets for this experience are going on sale July 16, and we cannot be more excited for it!

The show will run for two weekends, from August 17th – 19th and then again August 23rd – 26th.
