The trailer has finally arrived for the highly anticipated Suspiria. Helmed by Luca Guadagnino (Call me by your name) this remake of the Argento classic promises a severe shift in tone from the hyper-colored original with cold, wintry tones and a stark look.

The film stars Dakota Johnson as Susie Bannion, a dancer at odds with Madame Blanc, the artistic director at a celebrated but unsettling dance studio Blanc, played by the angular Tilda Swinton, puffs on cigarettes and stares with piercing intensity at Bannion in a collection of clips in this new offering. We know something is up as it is clear from the trailer that a dancer has disappeared, with the trailer ending with a shot of a hook on an otherwise inviting table set for tea.

Frankly, we cannot wait for this. A remake, when done right is a beautiful thing (The Fly-1986). When done wrong (Psycho-1998), well, yeah.
