Horror finds a home as HorrorBuzz Presents Horror Movie Night at The Frida Cinema in downtown Santa Ana

HorrorBuzz has joined forces with The Frida Cinema, Orange County’s most celebrated, non-profit art house cinema to present a monthly screening for film fans and horror hounds! Horror Movie Night will bring fandom and community together in celebrating the genre we love while exploring cinematically significant titles.

Horror Movie Night will kick off with the event screening of the 80’s slasher classic, “April Fool’s Day” on Sunday, April 1st at 8pm. Then, beginning Monday, April 30th HorrorBuzz will host screenings on the last Monday of every month featuring the best in horror with afun and unique twist featuring themed event screenings including prizes, guests, and costume contests.

“Horror Movie Night was a tradition at my house for years.” said HorrorBuzz founder Norman Gidney, “A bunch of friends getting together, watching a horror movie, and reveling in what it means to love scary movies. I can’t wait to bring the party to The Frida and share the fun of horror with everyone.”

“As an avid fan of horror cinema, I’ve read so many great articles and interviews, and been turned on to so many under-the-radar indie and classic horror films, on HorrorBuzz.com. I was thrilled and humbled when Norm reached out to throw an event with us last year, and to be moving forward with a monthly screening series is just so incredibly exciting. I look forward to working with the great team at HorrorBuzz on programming some memorable evenings of terrifying cinema at The Frida!”

The Frida Cinema will be the epicenter for horror movie fans as they offer a new monthly home for Horror Movie Night and the fabulous screenings presented by HorrorBuzz.
