45 years ago, Knott’s Berry Farm created a one-of-a-kind event that other industry leaders were skeptical about: Knott’s Scary Farm’s Halloween Haunt. It was a full-on, totally immersive haunted theme park experience, and that first single weekend  event sold out quickly. And then the next year sold out. And they started adding nights and shows and mazes and street monsters for the next 45 years, ending up with the fabulously freaky Knott’s Scary Farm event we’ve come to know and love.

This year, the haunt convention Midsummer Scream is proud to announce “45 Years Of Knott’s Scary Farm,” a 90-minute presentation that features an ambitious lineup of panelits spanning the full history of the event, often referred to as the world’s largest and scariest Halloween party. The vets include former and current cast members and crew, and the presentation will be moderated by author/documentarian Ted Dougherty.

The panel will be held 4:30pm, Sunday, July 30, closing out Midsummer Scream 2017. Rounding out the convention will be a reception held in the lobby immediately following which will provide guests many opportunities for questions and photos with these haunt legends.
