One of my favorite things last year was pretty much all of the shows that Shine On Collective put on. From their debut during the Fringe Festival to my strange relationship with Cara, they came out of the gate swinging and really changed what immersive theater is in my eyes.

So, as soon as I got the email for their latest show, I immediately had to ask for more details! But, understandably, writer Anna Mavromati was tight lipped about what to expect. However, the description alone makes me excited.

From their release:

Come away, o human child…

The world we know is filled with sorrows and complications. But what if there are other worlds? What if charming strangers offered to take you away from everything you know, promising an escape? Would you believe them?

Shine On Collective is proud to announce its newest immersive adventure, inspired by Irish folklore: To The Wild.

I am totally on board. Sure, not much is known, but come on…based on Irish folklore? ‘To The Wild’ as the title? The mind jumps with ideas…fairies? Leprechauns? I mean, the shows are being held at a brewery and a bar, so that’s pretty awesome.

The show will be running two weekends in March. From March 2nd through 4th, it will be at MacLeod Ale Brewing Co, 14741 Calvert St, Van Nuys, CA, and from March 9th through 11th, it will be at The Attic, 5429 Washington Blvd, Los Angeles, CA.

There are also two different types of tickets this time around, too. ‘The Wanderer’ is considered regular admission, and includes a pre-show experience and full show. It will set you back $33. ‘The Adventurer’ is VIP admission, and includes the pre-show experience, full show, a drink ticket, an additional one-on-one scene, and a ‘trinket from the good people.’

Tickets are available now, and you should definitely purchase them immediately, because chances are, they won’t last long. And trust me, you don’t want to miss out on this. You can find them here!

What more can I say except for “Holy crap, I am excited!”
