Horror is Scary Business

Horror is scary business. Monsters skulk around every darkened corner. Fog lay thick in the long stretches of dim alleyways. That’s not to mention the occasional confrontations with axe-weilding maniacs and chainsaw killers. But, when it’s all said and done, we return to reality and the real terrors await.

Horror is a delightful escape for its devoted fans. We escape the real world fears around us to slip into make beleive horrors that are easily stomped out. This is what makes horror fun.  It’s fear without consequence. It’s the rush of fight or flight without any true danger. It’s the exploration of the dark recesses of our collective nightmares in an attempt to be entertained and yes in order to overcome them. This is what horror and horror fandom is.

What You Can Do

We at HorrorBuzz have been working tirelessly to bring the world of horror to you. We love connecting fans, just like us, to the experiences you crave. We freaking LOVE when you see us out doing our stuff and you say hi. This feeds our soul.

We reach out now becuase HorrorBuzz could use help. It is fun to report on the haunted houses, the conventions, and tell you where you need to go to find the best scares. However, all of this work requires time and money to keep going. Increasing server costs and security on the back end, (yes the Russians hacked us. True story bro.)

So, we have begun this Patroen page as a way to offer readers a chance to contribute to the fear. With just a tiny ammount of money per month from our readers, we could not only keep going, but we could expand in some pretty amazing ways. It’s either this or those annoying ass pop-ups that blanket the entire page and get you in trouble when you are surfing at work. I mean, you know.

Please, consider contributing to the site on a monthly basis. Just think of the terrors that await!
