Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2
Continuing the beloved Caldwell family tradition of dressing up as Santa and going on murder sprees, Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2 follows Billy’s younger brother Ricky, who it turns out shares his big brother’s love of combining holiday spirit with uncontrolled fits of violent rage. It seems young Ricky never quite got over the trauma his brother caused, and after the death of his foster father he starts to hunt down anyone unfortunate enough to find themselves on his naughty list. After taking up the red suit his brother spread terror with a decade before, he seeks to finally complete his brother’s work, killing Mother Superior, who had planted the seed that lead his brother to commit his evil acts. Not quite as groundbreaking as the original and remembered mostly for the campy acting of lead Eric Freeman, Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2 nonetheless gifted us with one truly beautiful scene…
