Who’s ready for a tasty treat for their Christmas Horror fix? We have it right here!

The Gingerdead Man

There are few films that give us more Christmas feels that the Gary Busey classic, The Gingerdead Man. In what can only be described as a psychotic performance Busey plays Millard Findlemeyer, a convicted killer who returns to life in the form of a gingerbread cookie in order to seek revenge on the woman that sent him to the electric chair. Yep! That’s the plot. Man is it glorious.

We are not only treated to Busey giving the performance of his career, but we get to see horrific puppetry of a foam gingerbread character, ridiculous one-liners, and multiple peeks behind the scenes when crew makes it into a few shots here and there.  There really is something for everyone in this movie. It’s campy, intentionally and unintentionally hilarious, and what is more, there are sequels. Yes, the promise of more as the credits roll on this oven-baked opus.
