Today we share a delicious Danish treat from one of our favorite directors as part of the 25 Days of Christmas Horror.

Saint

Before there was a Krampus there was Saint Nicholas. From the inimitable Danish film director Dick Maas comes SINT or Saint. Every 32 years there happens to be a full moon on December 5th. This lets loose a murderous saint who runs rampant, seeking victims. What begins as typical horror fare becomes a rollicking action horror flick complete with a ghostly, decaying saint on a horse bounding from rooftop to rooftop in pursuit of our hero. Clever, oftentimes hilarious, and most importantly, highly entertaining, Saint is one of Maas’ best and falls into the required holiday viewing category. Don’t open your door tonight, it could be the ‘evil’ Saint Nicholas.
