Here we go, fiends and family. It’s the 1st of September, and you all know what that means… The countdown to Halloween has officially begun! Here at HorrorBuzz.com we are entering our Season of Screams, and we hope you can be a part of it. Those choosing to attend our VIP trip to Knott’s Scary Farm will be front row and center to witness a legend in horror.
She’s known as the best ride at Knott’s Scary Farm. The Mistress of the Dark, herself. Elvira!
The vivacious, and quick witted bombshell of evil gained fame hosting, “Elvira’s Movie Macabre” on Los Angeles’s KHJ television station in 1981. With a vampish appearance, sarcastic comedic edge, constant double entendres, and HUGE tracks of land, a dark star was literally born.
From movies, to comics, video games and pinball machines, and even music videos, Elvira: Mistress of the Dark quickly became a household name. And by the looks of social media, you love her just as much as we do! Collectors, cosplayers, lend us your push up bra’s! and let’s dive into the gram as we look at how you all celebrate your obsessions with Elvira!
Wow. I should really have taken my own disclaimers advice. I need an icepack and some Advil, stat! As you can see, Elvira (Cassandra Peterson) has transcended her spooky, and humorous persona. She’s a movie star, TV host, her own veritable merchandising empire… shes done it ALL! Just ask her ex boyfriends. Shoot, I can probably blame Elvira for some of my own ex’s. We love you, Elvira. You’re timeless.
If you get the chance, don’t miss her this year at Knotts Scary Farm. Remember folks as we here at HorrorBuzz are celebrating with our Season of Screams! We hope you can join us this Haunt season, and be sure to check in with HorrorGram and you just might catch your own photo’s featured here!
Scare ya, later!
