Vertical Entertainment has released pictures and a trailer for The Remains, a new movie starring Todd Lowe (True Blood), Samuel Larsen (Glee), Nikki Hahn (Pretty Little Lars) Lisa Brenner (Perception), Brooke Butler (All Cheerleaders Die) and Ashley Crow (Heroes). The Remains will be released on August 5, 2016.

The story is of a family that moves into an old Victorian home, only to discover a chest in the attic containing antiques tainted by a malevolent spirit. As the antiques slowly possess each family member, the spirit grows ever stronger,  hellbent on kidnapping the children.

Directed by Thomas Della Bella, this looks to be a terrific addition to the well-loved “haunted house” genre. Check out the trailer below!
