There are no secrets about it. We are HUGE fans of Savage House in San Diego. This small, independent haunted attraction was one of the absolute stand out haunted houses that we went to last year during the 2015 haunt season. Inventive, filled with sinister, tongue in cheek humor, Savage House featured a house of inbred yokels that were very happy to have visitors in their den of depravity. What set this venue apart was the addition of the expansive Horror Museum that exhibited actual props and costumes from some of horror’s most iconic moments. We are happy to share that Savage House Haunted Attraction, San Diego’s NEWEST and ONLY ‘themed’ haunted attraction returns for its 2nd year to Mission Valley’s Westfield Shopping Center in the heart of San Diego!

Savage House infected

Creators of Savage House Haunted Attraction, Gregg Curtis & Jennifer Smith (SavageProductions.org) have a keen sense of what makes a haunt stand out. They insist on creating a ‘theme’ through the entire attraction that catapults visitors into a storyline from the very beginning. This year they return with a completely different theme and it’s sure to be amazing. At nearly 5,000 square feet, 15 rooms, and an additional attraction known as ‘The Museum’ which hosts characters from many horror movies, as well as dedicated Walking Dead and Saw collections Savage House plans to kill it again this year.

Savage House in San Diego Announces 2016 Plans

Nearly every night you’ll find owners Gregg & Jennifer out front interacting with their patrons, and that’s rare in the haunt business. Customer service is very important to them as haunt owners and it shows. They value the opinions and comments of their guests and love the interaction. They also recognize the dedication of their actors who they value very much. They often say “we build them the playground, they bring it to life”

Check out our coverage and 360º videos from last year and see how cool it was. Also, as part of Midsummer Scream, Savage House will be in the spooky Hall of Shadows! Grab your tickets now and get a sneak peek of what’s to come.
