ReignOfTerrorOne of the very best Haunted houses in all of California is opening its doors for one night to benefit the Make-A-Wish foundation. Reign Of Terror Haunted House the sprawling masterpiece  situated above a Gold’s Gym in the Janss Marketplace in Thousand Oaks that must be seen to be believed. The creation of designer Bruce Stanton, ROT is no stranger to charity.  During the regular Halloween season, this attraction and its all volunteer staff, works to benefit the District’s Thousand Oaks Teen Center, Young Artists Ensemble programs. After losing one of their own to cancer, Bruce and his team came together again, for a one-night-only engagement to benefit Make-A-Wish, the charity that arranges experiences described as “wishes” to children with life-threatening medical conditions.

This is the perfect chance to scratch that Halloween itch and give to a worthy cause at the same time. Now, before you turn IMG_0130your nose up at a long drive out to Thousand Oaks, please read our review of this masterpiece.  Reign of Terror is, without qualification, one of the best haunted attractions we have ever been through.  The 15,000 square foot walkthrough recalls Louisiana’s The 13th Gate in it’s wandering narrative and haunt stew quality.

Reign of Terror will be open from 7-11pm Saturday, February 13th.

Pro-Tip! The box office for Reign of Terror accepts CASH ONLY.  There is an ATM nearby for a fee.  Best bet is to stop at one of the many nearby banks to grab cash first, then head on in.
