Despite the fact that it hasn’t even aired a single episode yet, advance buzz on Ash Vs Evil Dead is so good that Starz just announced today that they renewed it for a second season!

“One season isn’t enough to satisfy the fans’ two decade-long appetite for more Ash,” said Carmi Zlotnik, Managing Director of Starz, in their press release. “The early fan and press support, along with the international broadcaster demand for more story have made it clear that the adventures of Ash Williams can’t end with season one.”

The show, which is premiering on Halloween, has been making the rounds at conventions all over the country. Fans clamoring for their first look at Ash in years have been swallowing every bit of new media that Starz has released about the show. Even here at HorrorBuzz, we’re ridiculously excited to see The Chin back in action, kicking deadite ass!
