The spectacular AVP: Alien vs Predator maze will return to terrify at Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights for 2015.

If there were one maze that needed to return from last year’s 2014 Halloween Horror Nights in Hollywood, it was AVP.  We are thrilled to report that the terrifying “AVP: Alien vs Predator” maze  is returning to Universal Studios Hollywood for 2015.  Last year we got the answer to the the proverbial question asked by mankind since the beginning of time: Are we alone in this dark, vast universe? Now we know what we are in for!

“‘AVP: Alien vs. Predator’ is by far the most technically complicated and ambitious maze we’ve ever created for ‘Halloween Horror Nights,’” said John Murdy, Creative Director for Universal Studios Hollywood and Executive Producer of “Halloween Horror Nights.” “It’s a monumental undertaking to recreate these massive, iconic characters for a live event. Fortunately, we have the expert assistance of Academy Award®-winning make-up artists, Tom Woodruff and Alec Gillis from Amalgamated Dynamic Inc. (ADI), the special effects geniuses behind the original creatures for the AVP film franchise. Tom and Alec and the ADI team are excited about our maze and have graciously allowed us to cast from their original molds so that our maze will be absolutely authentic to the movies.”

The experience begins as we find a crashed scout ship in the woods.  Wandering through the wreckage and into the ship we discover the Predator and the Xenomorph in a bloody battle to the death.  The path of destruction leads out of the wreckage and into a sleepy, unsuspecting town.

Last year, this was the maze NOT to miss.  The attention to detail was beyond anything that Universal Hollywood had accomplished up to that point.  The production design was flawless.  The pacing of the scares was perfect.  The blood and goo levels were off the charts.  Most importantly the finale of the walkthrough was simply a jaw-dropping masterpiece.
